U19 England Colleges Representatives

Adam Gwillam and Harry Meads played for England Colleges versus Wales last week.

Wales won the closely contested game 27-13 with Adam starting at 6 and Harry at 5. Both played the whole game with Adam picking up the Man of the Match award.

They have already been selected for the next England Colleges Squad against Ireland next week.

Ampthill Shock points deduction

The rumours over the last couple of weeks have turned out to be true. Ampthill have been deducted points for a "breach of League regulations" The shock of it is that they have been deducted 10 points! Why?

Bromsgrove 74
Bedford Athletic 0

.... but we expected little else!

chrisMcmuddy Bromsgrove eased past the basement side despite having to play on the back pitch. Starting uphill in the first half Bromsgrove romped to a 24 point lead at half time. At the turn around the hill was in Bromsgrove's favour and Bedford had no answer to the onslaught that followed. Needless to say Bromsgrove showed why they are in second place in the league and Bedford Athletic are bottom without a win and better still we have removed our minus points diff and made it a bit more respectable.

You can't help but feel for Bedford but we've been there too and it hurts but we have a mission and that is to win.

Meads-and-Gwillam Bromsgrove can proudly boast that they have two England players "on the books"

Harry Meads and Adam Gwillam have both been selected for the England Colleges 'A' to play against Wales and Ireland. For the privilege of being selected they have to pay for their kit. As a result Harry and Adam are looking for sponsors, If you feel you or your company can contribute towards this cost please contact Paul Meads via our contacts page.

We as a club wish them every success and hope to see another two (?) England shirts gracing our walls soon.

Following on from the success of Saturdays mascot, we have 3 home games left this season. If you would like your son or daughter to be a mascot for one of these games, please contact me. It will be on a first come, first served basis however, we'll hopefully keep it going next season too.
